Certified to teach K - 12, Cathy Risberg has fifteen years of teaching experience in public and private schools, the last ten as a classroom teacher in a school for the gifted and talented. A parent of three gifted adult children, Cathy is an adjunct faculty member for the Technology in Education program at National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois. She is a member of both National Association of Gifted Children (NAGC) and the Illinois Association of Gifted Children (IAGC) and presents regularly to various educational and professional groups. Cathy has authored and co-authored a number of articles, has been published in Understanding Our Gifted, The Twice-Exceptional Newsletter and was a contributor to the book, Transforming Classroom Practice: Professional Development Strategies in Educational Technology, edited by Arlene Borthwick and Melissa Pierson.
